Authenticity

Clients should always feel comfortable showing up as their real, authentic selves. You’ve worn your masks long enough.

Client-centered Orientation

Every client is an expert on his or her own life. The clinician is not here to fix your problems, but instead to walk with you on this journey to find the most fitting life path that yields the best results.

Trust and integrity

No healing can be done between those who cannot be trusted. We work hard to maintain an environment of honesty and transparency so clients are always clear about our intentions and goals.

Connection

The clinician-client connection is the most important part of the relationship. If a client is to feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable, they must feel safe, heard and valued. We seek to create this type of environment.

Our Clients

Healing Our Trauma Therapy Room

We offer trauma-informed, culturally sensitive services that center the clients as experts on their lives. Our clients are often BIPOC (black, indigenous, person of color) looking for a decolonized therapy experience that doesn’t pathologize their way of being.

We see clients with a variety of presenting issues (depression, anxiety, PTSD, PPD, OCD, grief and loss, etc.), but specialize post traumatic stress and childhood trauma, be it abuse, neglect, abandonment, parent addiction, persistent poverty, housing instability, death of loved ones, natural disasters, war and civil unrest, and so much more.
